[It's a deadpan request that is turned down time and again by passing waiters, but Dwyer insists it every time someone comes by to ask if he likes his now cold food - which, to him, was honestly a disgrace to even call food. And it's not that he wanted to speak to the chef, but that he wanted to get in the kitchen and make better food for all these people. So why doesn't he just get up and force his way in?

It's likely too much effort. But at least you can gripe about the quality with someone who seems to know what he's talking about.]
