Call Me Out!
Feel like threading something out with Jane? Homestuck's canon, AUs, taking place within a game she's had CR with one of your characters with, meme-type prompts, text conversations, or otherwise? Come at me, bros!
Just warn for anything like gore, smut, etc. in the title of your toplevel and let's get down to business!

I'd get sick if I ate all the pies myself, and eventually it'd all taste the same. Different opinions are key to perfecting a product, too!
Do you want to join in?

You know, Mister Xander asked me not to let you help, but if you can keep that quiet I'm going to tutor you in some basic things afterwards anyway. Like eggs. And toast.
Soup, too, because promise me, soup is not hard.

Don't ask me what it's for.

You can't go wrong with soup, if you keep it basic.
Or tomato sauce - though, there's lots of people who are very particular about THAT. I just suggest it because pasta is incredibly easy to make to pair with it.
Let's start with this: what are you in the mood to eat?
no subject
Soup and sauce sounds easy enough.
Just something that I can have ready in 30 minutes or less.
no subject
Do you have vegetables in the house? They don't have to be fresh. In fact, frozen or canned would cook faster.
Do you have stock or bouillon? If not, check to see if you have those packages of instant ramen. They always have flavor packets, and then you'll have noodles for the soup too.
Just follow the water directions on the back of the package for how many cups you'll have to put in.
It's quick, it's cheap, but it's a hot meal and it'll fill you up.
You can even make a lot of it at once if you have to.

Jane i need help
i don't know if you know more about this than i do or what but
you can't know less than lightning
no subject
I guess if I can't know less than Light, it's got to be...something?
What's up, Kurumi?
no subject
Lightning is
well she told me that i shouldn't ask the gay men about it
no subject
Well, I can agree on that point. Boys who kiss boys are pretty terrible at romantic advice, bless their hearts.
However, though I haven't really been in a relationship myself, I am also a girl, so I think I can help!
And if it's for Ricky, it'll be even easier!
Are you looking for date ideas?

A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? Motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day... I got in.
It's a pretty typical jamjar setup. One minute you're doing such-and-such, the next you find yourself in what seems like a darkened city beneath a cloudy, indistinct sky, lit dimly in pale neon blue. There's nothing too different physically, as far as you can tell, except for the whole not having superpowers thing. And somewhere on your clothes there's an accent of white light, not unlike the other people living here, if less pronounced.
The street you appear on, pixel by pixel, doesn't look like it sees much use. Probably fortunate. But as you start to get your bearings, it's soon clear that you're not alone.
___________
One of the arrivals is Aradia, fresh from her brief appearance in Act 7, as she bore witness to the destruction and birth of paradox space itself (which are, of course, the same event).
(Or at least that is the theory I've been running with. WHATEVER IT'S NOT IMPORTANT.)Anyway, what she was planning on doing next was kind of up in the air, so while she's a bit nonplussed by the situation, it's not as if she was going anyplace in a hurry. And hey, this looks kind of cool! Why not check it out? She takes off and flies over the city-- oh wait, no, she doesn't do that. Because her wings are missing.
She has to do a quick 360 to be sure. That's a little more disconcerting. Finding yourself randomly transportalized into a whole new world? Fine. I mean that's like 20% of Homestuck, right there. But losing her powers is a much bigger problem. She's never not had powers of some description.
But as luck would have it (if luck were a thing that mattered), as she's beginning to fret, she happens to spy the other person wearing Maid regalia. So she executes a Lass Scamper over to that person. She doesn't bother introducing herself or anything, she already knows about the Maid of Life - instead, she leads with a more important question.
"Excuse me! Can you fly right now?"
no subject
Flying hadn't been a thing Jane was concerned about. For all intents and purposes, she should be dead - nothing more than another ghost in a dream bubble. But now she's someplace else instead, the symbol on her pajamas a steady glow and the world around her unfamiliar. She blinks at the girl addressing her, only vaguely noticing the troll horns and similarly cut pajamas.
"I...erm, haven't tried?"
no subject
"Okay. Can you try right now please?" she asks. "It's important."
no subject
Jane takes a moment to close her eyes and focus, face scrunching a little as she ends up on her tiptoes, but...nope, nothing happens. She rests back on her heels with a frustrated grunt.
"No dice. Sorry." A pause, as she properly takes in the other girl. "...You're a Maid too, huh?"

Now, I'm no expert, but I'm really curious.
Pie swap?
no subject
I would love to do a pie swap!
When would you want to meet up for a pie exchange? My whole week is pretty free. Why, we could make a whole day out of it!
no subject
Just to warn you, I might go a little crazy with ingredients.
But we'll have plenty of pie to share with everyone.
no subject
Maybe I'll go a bit overboard myself, just to have the excuse to share with everyone.
post-airlocked
[Eliza gasps, her hand still raised to cover the left side of her neck.] Wh-what the? Where am I? [She slowly stands up, looking around.] Where is everybody?
no subject
Okay. Okay there is a random girl now on the Temerity and Jane has her arms full of horrible shipping shirts to make into a pile in some secluded corner of the ship to just...veg out, honestly. She drops the shirts, mouth falling open in shock.]
Oh my...w-who are you?
